Ayurveda or Ayurvedic is an ancient treatment that originated in India that covers all aspects of lifestyle. The word Ayurveda comes from Sanskrit which means ayur – life, and veda – knowledge, or literally means knowledge about life. According to Ayurveda, each person has the energy of life (Doshas), consisting of Vata or air, Pitta or hot, and Kapha or water. The disease occurs when the three elements are not balanced. Environment, air pollution, food, drinks, and genetic factors can cause imbalance Life (doshas). Maintaining this balance is the key of Ayurveda treatment.
