Thick eyelashes and long are every woman’s dream. Did you know that the average upper eyelashes consist of 90-160 strands and length of 8-12 millimeters? Then, the bottom lashes average consists of 75-80 strands and between 6-8 millimeters in length.

If you want to have longer eyelashes and thick, there are several ways that can be done, among others, use mascara or false eyelashes. In addition to these two ways, there is another way that is eyelash transplant.

The way was first described by Dr. Diffenbach in 1822. Currently there are many people who done eyelash transplant started from the model, adult women, to mothers. Surely it is done to beautify the appearance of the eyes.

Eyelash transplant needs high precision, because the plant strand by strand of hair from the roots of the hair on the back head of the upper eyelid. Usually the hair is implanted in the eyelid about 50 strands.

This planting technique is not always right, and there must be some corrections made. It made a little cut on the eyelid and of course pain. Side effects of this beauty technique besides pain also depend on the shape of each woman’s eyes.

The growth process of planted eyelashes will be different from the original eyelashes. Eyelash growth will follow the genetic hair, so it need special handling such as trim or stretch to shape eyelashes with original eyelashes. Therefore, eyelash transplant is not recommended to someone who has curly hair unless she can get straight hair roots from others.
